We’re really proud to be supporting the next generation of construction professionals through our partnership with The King’s Trust. Our latest course gave a group of young people the opportunity to try their hand at bricklaying on a live construction site, in partnership with MGroup, CBRE and Landsec at Gunwharf Quay in Portsmouth. A special thanks to Roy Atwell, pictured below, who was the expert on hand to teach the delegates everything they needed to get started with bricklaying.

This followed the completion of a two-day Health & Safety Awareness course taught by our MD, James Owen, which we are pleased to say everyone passed with flying colours!

At JRS Training, we’re passionate about creating real opportunities for young people to build successful careers in the construction industry. Playing even a small part in helping individuals gain skills, confidence, and clear pathways into employment is something we’re incredibly proud of.

Programmes like those delivered by The King’s Trust are making a genuine impact – opening doors, changing lives, and helping shape the future of the industry.

Here’s to investing in talent, supporting ambition, and building the workforce of tomorrow! Find out a bit more about the course here.
