A Course With A View: DRHS

The CITB Director’s Role for Health & Safety course has a lot of content to cover, which we noticed can be overwhelming for our clients – and being in a normal classroom with your head down for so long isn’t good for the soul! Other one day courses, such as Health & Safety Awareness, can be easier to digest in any setting – DRHS however is another story.

With this in mind, we decided to rent a room at our local RNLI College in Poole. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, incredible panoramic views across Poole Harbour and a buffet lunch included. DRHS covers a lot of important information for directors, as well as multiple group exercises and an exam. By treating them to a day away from the office in a fantastic venue, we felt the delegates were able to take on more information and overall enjoyed the day a lot more.

It also means a lot to us to be able to support the RNLI College in Poole, which is where we are based ourselves. The RNLI College is the home of RNLI training, where lifeboat volunteers from across the UK and Ireland are trained to become able crew members. Anything you spend at the RNLI College, whether it’s renting a room or a enjoying a coffee in their café, goes towards keeping their crews trained, equipped, and ready.
